Our trip to Pulau Kapas (Kapas Island) started tonight. I were busy preparing for my absent in office for the next few days. To ensure my future leave approved easily I must ensure everything working fine in office even though I off. My colleagues were helpful. In return they wanted me to bring them some local stuff. Well this happens when anyone of us leave for vacation or oversea for office tasks.

We took off around 8:30pm. The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Terengganu takes about 6 hours drive. We decided to stop at Kuantan (Capital of the state of Pahang). The driving journey is smooth. The highway was surprisingly good as compared to few years before. Therefore it only took us 3 hours to reach Kuantan. There are many hotels in Kuantan. We didn’t book room in advance but it is not an issue to walk in a hotel in Kuantan and get a room.
